1944 Rome : mixed franking of five Social Republic stamps plus 15c Pneumatuc Post, on 30c "Vinceremo" postal stationery card, regsistered from ROMA BORGHI, locally sent philatelic card (backstamped three days later), the "victory" in fact proved to be to the Americans, as they were approaching Rome and liberated the city two months later.
